lyrics

On the road again
Squares and market rush
Busy streets
We are so far away now, yeh -yeh!
All that political stuff -
Barking of those hungry dogs
Now it’s gone,
For a minute or two, when I’m with you.
We will come through,
ONLY TOGETHER!
And you have nothing to hide,
I get to feel so high!
We are true keepers of the magic flame!

Where sunflowers reach for the sky
We'll dance,
We'll sing of the dawn of the universe,
We are the children of nature and the sun!
As one,
LIKE SUN!
As one,
No matter how, no matter why,
As youngsters now we touch the sky!
Way into the fields the river flows
Deep in my heart I know!
I had a dream when I was young -
That I would be much closer to the sun!
TO SEEK - TO LEARN!
TO LIVE - TO BURN!
And remain that child with an open heart!

I can still recall so clear
My father’s hands and mother’s eyes,
Bright days without end,
Long Journeys to our Promised Land,
Fresh apples and blue cartoons
An old piano and some simple tunes,
The beauty taste of cheap cakes after school
Only a child you cannot fool!

With each summer came new songs,
And I sang them to the world.
The winter cold brought magic in the air,
New years eve with the snow in my hair!
I remember now
I still can feel,
The first morning kiss,
It’s so-so real...!!

Where sunflowers reach for the sky
We'll dance,
We'll sing of the dawn of the universe,
We are the children of nature and the sun!
As one,
LIKE SUN!
As one,
No matter how, no matter why,
As youngsters now we touch the sky! yeh - yeh!
Far in the hills the forest grows
Deep in my heart I know,
I had a dream when I was young -
That I would be much closer to the sun!
TO SEEK - TO LEARN!
TO LIVE - TO BURN!
And remain that child with an open heart!

Silver shades on the kitchen floor:
"Do you want some milk? Would you like some more..."
And the candle lights, like in a fairytale,
During this night we were free - we were happy
When we stood on the balcony,
And the music that we heard,
Was like our destiny.
I looked into your eyes,
I can remember now that night,
Together with open hearts
Brightly burned the light!
