Fell in love with BBT recently, absolutely love the stories they tell and the music. Very sad to hear about David’s passing, listening now is quite moving, moved to tears from time to time, but we move on as I hope BBT will with David in our hearts.

Here we have a reworking of an older Magenta piece of music, with full orchestra. The original has been turned into a trilogy, and it is just fantastic! Christina Booth’s voice is, of course, magnificent, and Robert Reed’s production and arrangement is masterful. Chris Fry provides superb acoustic guitar throughout. There is a bit of narration from Les Penning to tie the tale together and flute and oboe are especially featured, as well as delicate harp coming to the fore from time to time

I received this as a surprise present by the band for pre-ordering the upcoming album, so thanks a lot to you, too :-)) As could be expected by Pat Sanders & Co, highly melodic prog that should, for instance, appeal too friends of Fish-era Marillion (although Uncle Fish would never have reached those high notes ;-) ) and some instrumentals (from beautiful miniatures like Bubbles to the more epic Last Supper). Among many other fine things offered here, I especially love Pat's piano playing!
